Harper's now in a hurry

"Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened."
~ Winston Churchill

Harper denies Conservative link to fraudulent election 'robocalls', By Glen McGregor and Stephen Maher, Ottawa Citizen and Postmedia News
...In response to a Postmedia News-Ottawa Citizen report that found an Elections Canada investigation has traced the robocalls to a call centre with Conservative connections, Prime Minister Stephen Harper denied his party was involved in the attempt to mislead voters.

"In this case, our party has no knowledge of these calls," Harper told reporters in Iqaluit. "It's not part of our campaign."...
Dirty Deeds..., Red Tory
...whoever was responsible for attempting to suppress the vote for the benefit of the Conservative candidates in tightly contested ridings required money, organization and voters lists. Doesn’t exactly sound like a formula for some obscure “rogue” now does it?...
The Gazetteer says,
I, like many others, including, I'm pretty sure, Ms. Malley ("how come his [Mr. Sona's] name was floated by all the usual suspects and conservative sources within five minutes after the story broke?") believe that Mr. Sona is being scapegoated here because, as Mr. Maher also said on the CBC this morning:

"This was not one kid with a robo-dialer"

I saw Herr Harper's nose grow at least an inch when he said that.

This robocon scandal, has gone viral. There are more and more riding's showing up, that were blitzed by robocalls. Even into Manitoba. Who knows how many more riding's will show up.

Dammit Janet has invoices posted, that were paid by the Conservatives. One looks as though, it was paid in American funds.

James Curran is wondering which Liberal will be the first to file? Many of those riding's won by just a hair.

I read, MacKay literally bolted away from the media. I guess Harper didn't tell him, he was not supposed to be in government business. He is strictly military.

Anger and outrage is really a-popping, all over Canada. Seems our choir boy Harper, isn't really a choir boy after all.

"In this case, our party has no knowledge of these calls," Harper told reporters in Iqaluit." A person could take that to mean that in other cases it did. You know how literal you have to take these people when they speak......

It would make my day to hear that a Judge has disallowed the "close results" of the abovementioned ridings and said that the by-election must be run again !
Ha, that would certainly "queer" Harper's position and could end up costing all his MP's.
That really would make my day and see Harper with another minority government - especially if a few bank benchers decide that they have had enough of"King Stephen".

It is gonna get a lot worse before it gets any better !!!

    Thanks

I think Canadians have had enough of Harper's dictatorship, and his ranting and raving henchmen. It most certainly not beneath Harper's dignity, to use dirty tactics. Both Harper and Campbell pulled dirty tactics, to force the HST onto the BC people. We remember every underhanded detail, the lies, deceit, corruption and cheating. Harper and Campbell worked as fast as they could, to financially ruin BC, before Campbell got the boot.

The robocon calls invoice, is on Dammit Janet's web site. The Conservatives paid that bill.

"If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it must be a..."

Of course the Conservatives had to be involved, targeting callers by party affiliation and region, utilizing false names and identities, and so on. How else do you create this kind of "organized subversion" of an election.

This had to be "orchestrated" from a higher level. What your seeing now is "plausible deniability" from a party that truly believes that most Canadian's, are really too naive to know or care, what the politicians are up to.

Come on Canada! This is a direct assult on your countries counstitutional right, to vote in free and unencumbered elections. Wake up and speak out. Laws are only useful if they are used and challenged. Justice must be seen to be done, otherwise it is nothing but rhetoric.

This political nonsense is the latest in the so called "elitist efforts", to marginalize the voting public, for the sake of power at all costs. This is intolerable in a modern democratic society, especially on this scale.

This country seems to have been "infiltrated" by politicians, who in some quarters feel that illegal acts, will not be found out and that
they are free to do as they choose, to maintain and hold power.

All political parties, Elections Canada the RCMP and even CSIS, need to be brought into this, in order to find those responsible, and prosecute to the fullest extent, of the law.
