I just registered to make an oral submission to the National Energy Board panel reviewing the Enbridge Northern Gateway project. I encourage you to do the same.
Enbridge plans to bring an oil pipeline and supertankers to our salmon rivers and coast.
There are no British Columbians on the review panel. I'll be there to make sure that the panel hears my voice:
This is our coast and our decision. We say NO.
The more people who register to speak, the more people's views the panel will have to consider when it makes its decision. That's why I'm emailing you.
Please register to speak along with me. This is our opportunity to do something important together and to stand with over 80 First Nations, fishermen's unions, chambers of commerce and municipal councillors who have all said NO to Enbridge's pipeline and oil supertankers.
The review panel will be setting up forums in selected communities across BC January and February of 2012.
If you don't feel comfortable speaking please write to your MP and MLA explaining your views on why this pipeline and oil super tankers on our coast are wrong for British Columbia. You can do so at the following website:
Please think about it!
